Kyle Baumann currently resides in Christiansburg, VA, after living in seven states across the country. He completed high school in Westbrook, MN, during which He became a follower of Christ. He completed his B.S. in Biology at South Dakota State University in 2013. He is currently a second year medical student at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in Blacksburg, VA. He is member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Blacksburg.
Kyle enjoyed serving as the student president of the VCOM local chapter before stepping into his current position as the Northeast Regional Student Representative. He is passionate to see medical and dental students grow in their faith amidst the challenges of medical/dental school, while learning to practice medicine in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. He is striving to see healthcare through a biblical worldview and to help other students do the same. He sees CMDA as an integral part in this journey.
In his free time, Kyle enjoys playing basketball, fishing, reading, visiting his family in the Midwest, as well as learning Arabic. He desires to be part of a church plant amidst an unreached people group in the future, while serving the community as a physician.
