CMA's Freedom2Care featured in podcast on March for Life

By Jonathan Imbody | January 28, 2016

Excerpted from "Blizzard 2016 Couldn't Stop Thousands from Participating in the March for Life," Alliance Defending Freedom blog, January 26, 2016 - When the United States Supreme Court legalized abortion on January 22, 1973, it signed the death certificates of the nearly 59 million American children who have been killed in the womb since then.

Unfortunately, many in our society turn a blind eye to this important human rights issue. They don’t understand why tens of thousands of people (including several members of Congress, a Super Bowl champion, a presidential candidate, and even a 3-time Golden Globe winner) braved pre-blizzard and dangerous travel conditions to march peacefully to protest Roe v. Wade at the March for Life.

Any reason we could give (and the pro-life community gave many as part of the #WhyWeMarch campaign) circles back to the unmistakable truth: there's too much at stake not to. We march because too many women are lied to and convinced that the life they carry isn't a life at all. We march because the lives taken through abortion are precious and undeserving of such a cruel fate. And we march so that women and children will no longer be casual victims of a billion dollar abortion industry (of which Planned Parenthood is queen), profiting off of their pain.

We applaud the men, women, and children who boldly stood up in defense of life at the March for Life. Whether you were physically marching in D.C. this past Friday, joining the march in spirit, or participating in an event closer to home, thank you for embracing that call to protect innocent lives.

Jonathan ImbodyThe ADF Freedom Matters team recapped the March for Life on their latest podcast, which also includes interviews with March for Life president Jeanne Mancini, Jonathan Imbody of Freedom2Care, Jonathan Keller of the California Family Council, and Joseph Backholm of the Family Policy Institute of Washington.
