Dr. Jim Garlow is an author, communicator, commentator, historian, cultural observer and Senior Pastor of Skyline Wesleyan Church in San Diego, California. He is heard daily on more than 830 radio outlets nationwide in his one-minute historical commentary called “The Garlow Perspective.” In March 2010 while continuing as a San Diego pastor, he was appointed by former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich to be the Chairman of ReAL (Renewing American Leadership), based in Washington, D.C. During California’s Proposition 8 (defense of marriage) battle, he founded and led the California Pastors Rapid Response Team, a group of networked pastors committed to the sanctity of marriage. He is the founding director of, a movement encouraging 40 days of prayer, fasting and informed value voting, defending the sanctity of life, the sacredness of marriage and religious liberty, in addition to addressing the excessive national debt. He graduated from Drew University (PhD in historical theology), Princeton Theological Seminary (master of theology), Asbury Theological Seminary (master of divinity), Southern Nazarene University (BA and MA) and Oklahoma Wesleyan University (AA).

Dr. Jeff Keenan leads the National Embryo Donation Center (NEDC) team. He is a professor at the University of Tennessee Graduate College of Medicine, Department of OB/Gyn, as well as the director of its Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He serves as the medical director for both the non-profit NEDC and the Southeastern Fertility Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. Dr. Keenan is boarded in obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Dr. Keenan graduated with honors from Jefferson Medical College, and he completed an internship at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee and a fellowship at Hutzel Hospital/Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, American Board of Bioanalysis and Christian Medical & Dental Associations.

Casey Mattox, JD – Academic Freedom and Update on Right of Conscience

Casey Mattox is Senior Counsel, Director of the Center for Academic Freedom with Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF). Mattox joined ADF in 2009 as a member of the litigation team. Over time, he began to focus his efforts on working with allied attorneys to litigate cases to protect the rights of Christian students, faculty and staff at public colleges and universities across the nation. In this role, Mattox drew on his past experience with the Christian Legal Society, where he served from 2004 to 2009. Before assuming his current position, Mattox also played pivotal roles on the ADF Center for Life and the Legislative Working Group, where he was active in defending the sanctity of life and holding the abortion industry accountable for its abuse of taxpayer dollars. In 2015, he testified before a subcommittee of the United States House of Representatives on the authority of states to defund Planned Parenthood. He also was active in defending freedom of conscience in the healthcare industry. Mattox has numerous media appearances, and his work has been featured in USA Today, The Washington Times, The Federalist and Townhall, among others. Mattox earned his JD from Boston College Law School in 2001, and he clerked for Alabama Supreme Court Justice Champ Lyons. He is a member of the bar in Virginia, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 7th, 8th, 9th and D.C. Circuits and numerous federal district courts.
