Well-established practice of 15 years with a staff of 2 psychiatrists and 8 full-time providers (psychologists, nurse practitioners and therapists). Physicians average treating 10 patients per day. Outpatient only with no call schedule. Located in growing area only 45 minutes from the Washington, D.C. area.
Wonderful opportunity for Psychiatrist to join an independent faith-based multi-specialty group in western suburbs of Chicago. Would consider adult psychiatrists as well as child and adolescent psychiatrists. Staff of 7 physicians and 23 psychologists and psychotherapists. Physician would have option of doing inpatient and outpatient medicine or outpatient only. Flexible scheduling as physician can choose daily number of patients. Immediately seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist with two or more years’ experience working in a multi-disciplinary outpatient mental health work environment. Salary expectations = $210,000.00.

- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screen
- Ability to obtain clearance for Military Common Access Card (CAC)
Experience should include the following:
- Current board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- At least 24 months of clinical experience within the last 36 months
- At least two years’ experience with adult patient populations including psychiatric triage and disposition of emergency psychiatry services
- At least two years’ experience providing after-hours consultation (both by phone and in person) to staff 24-hour emergent care clinic or emergency room
- Proficient in typing and familiar with using a computerized electronic medical record system

The support staff, including our psychiatric nurse does an excellent job at supporting all the needs of the professionals. Efficient procedures are in place to make starting to work at easy. Independent, FQHC/Community Health Center is seeking BC/BE Psychiatrist. The Psychiatrist, as part of the primary care treatment team, identifies triages and manages patients with medical and behavioral health problems within the primary care setting. In addition, the psychiatrist will provide patient education strategies and will develop specific behavioral change plans for patients and behavioral health protocols for target populations.
The psychiatrist will also provide professional healthcare services for outpatients in accordance with their scope of practice. The psychiatrist will support the Mission of organization to provide the highest quality holistic care to all who need it and in so doing minister the love of Christ. The psychiatrist will maintain a level of involvement with health center committees as needed to ensure quality of care for patients. The psychiatrist will serve as a leader in word and deed for the rest of the staff.
