Automatic Monthly Donations/Recurring

Making automatic gifts is easy and saves you time and trouble each month. We offer two methods of automatic monthly donations:

  • Via debit or credit card: click here to enroll in automatic monthly donations using your credit card.
  • Via bank account: click here to download a form to begin automatic withdrawals from your bank account using Automated Clearing House (ACH). You can specify the date of the withdrawal and you will receive a receipt from CMDA each month.

You can stop or change your monthly deduction at any time.

Commemorative Gifts
Contributions in honor of friends and colleagues are a wonderful way to mark anniversaries and celebrate milestones. Gifts in memory of loved ones pay lasting respect by advancing the Lord’s work. Both are gratefully received and thoughtfully acknowledged. When making commemorative gifts, donors are asked to send the names and addresses of those who should be notified about the gift to:

Christian Medical & Dental Associations
Attn: Maggie Combs
P.O. Box 7500
Bristol, TN 37621

Donor Advised Funds
Donor Advised Funds offers the opportunity to donate cash, stock or other approved assets to a special charitable account, claim a charitable deduction to save taxes and then later recommend the ministries and charities to support. Consider this effective family foundation substitute for gifts of $10,000 or more. CMDA has a relationship with the National Christian Foundation to accommodate donors who wish to create a Donor Advised Fund to provide gifts to the various ministries they support. For more information, please contact stewardship@cmda.org.

Gold and Silver
With precious metals and historic highs, you can avoid capital gains tax (which can run as high as 28 percent for coins and collectibles) by contributing gold and silver to CMDA. Contact stewardship@cmda.org to learn more.

Mailed Contributions
To contribute by mail, send to:
Christian Medical & Dental Associations
P.O. Box 7500
Bristol, TN 37621

Non-Cash Contributions
CMDA partners with iDonate to accept tangible gifts like automobiles, boats, recreational vehicles, medical/dental supplies, office equipment and jewelry. If CMDA cannot utilize the donated items, they are sold with the proceeds benefiting CMDA’s ministries. Click here to learn more.

The Cell ur Phone 4 CMDA program offers you the opportunity to recycle your unused cell phone and raise funds for your local CMDA chapter. Click here to learn more.

Planned Giving
To learn more about planned giving click here.

Real Estate
Real estate can be a practical and tax-wise gift. Gifts of homes, farms and other real estate assets can complement your overall estate plan while enhancing your financial security now and in the future, in addition to honoring the Lord. If you would like to discuss making a gift of appreciated real estate, please contact stewardship@cmda.org.

Retirement Accounts
Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), pension plans and other qualified retirement plans may be utilized for charitable giving through effective gift and estate planning. For many CMDA members, a qualified retirement plan is their single largest asset. Decisions regarding the distribution of these assets after your passing are critical in order to do the most good possible within your family, church and supported organizations. For more information, please contact stewardship@cmda.org.

Stocks and Shares
Shares of publicly traded stocks can be easily gifted to CMDA. You can save capital gains tax and may secure other attractive benefits. Click here for more information.

To begin the process of transferring appreciated mutual fund shares, please contact stewardship@cmda.org. Each fund family has a different process to transfer shares directly, and we will be happy to walk you through the process.
