Russ East, Director of Utah Partnerships For Christ (UPFC), grew up in a fourth generation Mormon family, where he remembers competition rather than Christ's love. After six years of frustrated devotion to Mormonism, Russ felt spiritually empty. One day, the East family was invited to visit the Santa Rosa Bible Church in Santa Rosa, California. Russ had never heard such things in a church and basically considered the idea of salvation through grace by faith plus nothing as ridiculous. Two weeks later, Russ accepted Christ, and he began the most abundant and fulfilling life offered to mankind. Presently, Russ East is the Director of UPFC, an organization that helps bring short-term mission teams to Utah. They also provide workshops on how to reach Mormons for Christ. Russ encourages each of us to go through the first seven chapters of the book of Romans and see for ourselves how amazing true salvation really is.

Rodney Mirich, MD is the CMDA Marriage Enrichment Commission Chair. He has led marriage enrichment weekends throughout the US, Kenya and Malaysia. Dr. Mirich and his wife, Jeanette, have been married for over 37 years. He grew up in a non-Christian home with his mother and stepfather, who required Rodney and his sister to attend church. However, it was not until after he married Jeanette that he accepted Christ. Jeanette became a Christian 4 years after they married, and Rodney was jealous of her happiness and forbade her to go to church anymore. To his surprise, she agreed and he shortly stopped persecuting his wife. Almost a year later, he got ‘totally smashed drunk’ one night and accepted Christ as his savior. Amazingly, his decision stuck. Since that night, Dr. and Mrs. Mirich have ministered to countless couples around the world, helping them heal and strengthen their marriages.
