Trip Details:  GHO is partnering with a wonderful church-planting ministry called Fisherman N*pal Ministry located in Kathm*ndu under the leadership of Pastor Abr*ham Kh*n and his wife K*mala.  This is an awesome opportunity to further God’s Kingdom work within the 10/40 window where very few have heard the name of Jesus Christ.

We will be serving in the town of T*kapur in the lowlands of southwest Nep*l. Tik*pur is about 650 kilometers from K*thmandu, the capital of N*pal. The medical and dental need is great as there is little or no access to medical care and many of the people will come from remote villages in the surrounding area. In a country with more than 80% Hindu, 10% Buddhists, 4% Muslim and less than 1% Christian, there is much need for the Good News of Christ Jesus! GHO is privileged to be part of this wonderful church-planting ministry as we seek to reach the least and the lost with the love of Christ.

The trip will require flying from K*thmandu to Nep*lgunj from where we will travel by van to T*kapur 31/2 hours away. We will stay in a hotel in Tik*pur and travel daily 15 minutes to the clinic location. The local church will provide for all our physical needs.

As the team leader, my passion is for the team itself. This mission is much more than providing medical and dental care though we seek to provide the most compassionate and skilled care possible so that God is honored and glorified! However, I also desire to create an environment for the team that is conducive to rapid team bonding and individual spiritual growth through daily team praise and worship, devotions, testimonies and sharing. In this way, each person can better go out and serve and love with the love of Christ. God has given this team an extraordinary invitation, just as He did Abr*ham so many thousands of years ago, to leave all that is familiar to us, comfortable to us and to go where He will show us for His honor and glory! Are you ready to accept this invitation and start the most extraordinary adventure of all that of touching one life at a time with the hope, joy and love that only comes from a personal relationship with Christ? If so please contact me at aslusma@aol.com!
