Who:  Primary Caregivers, Dentists and Assistants, Pharmacists, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Logistics (non-medical helpers), Pastor (to take an active part in the spiritual aspect of the team).

Required Documentation for Medical & Dental Professionals: Current practicing license with expiration date visible, medical, dental, nursing school transcript and diploma, letter of good standing (hospital privileges) and CV. All participants will need to have a valid passport that is current for at least 6 months after the departure date. A tourist visa is required for entry in to Ethiopia.

Trip Details:  Global Health Outreach has been going to different regions of Ethiopia for twelve years. It is a great joy to again join our national partners, The Great Commission Ethiopia (Campus Crusade for Christ in Ethiopia). We are planning to give care and show Christ's love to those in great need to villages in the Tigray region of northern Ethiopia. Tigray Region is the region dominated by the Coptic Orthodox Church which covers 95.7% of the region's population. The Evangelical Christians are only 0.1%. The ministry of The Great Commission Ethiopia began to reach the region with the gospel of Jesus Christ through different strategies. Our national partners, Damtew & Tracie Kifelew believe that the medical mission team there can help to bring more influence and facilitate the evangelical mission already started.

The people of Ethiopia are a proud and wonderful people, and have a long history.   They have survived invasion by fascist Italy, civil wars, fighting with separatist groups, conflict with Islamists and food shortages. We have a great opportunity to demonstrate the love and compassion of Christ to the people of Ethiopia who are without help and without hope, by ministering to their physical and spiritual needs.  This is a great occasion to serve the risen Lord, help those in need, and further the evangelical mission of the Great Commission Ethiopia. I also desire to create an environment for the team to bond and for individual spiritual growth through team devotions, praise & worship, testimonies, and sharing our experience.

Scripture calls us to meet the physical needs of others, spread the Gospel and disciple others. Do you feel God calling you to this mission? Pray that God may show you a direction that may open a door for your involvement in this great adventure.
