We must provide to China the following documentation for all healthcare workers 3 months prior to the start of the trip.
1. Passport copy
2. Resume
3. Certificates and diplomas
4. License
5. Health certificate--that certify that the person is free of AIDS, Hepatitis, STDs, Fever, Typhoid etc. This is a requirement of the Chinese government. With this in hand we can be able to apply for a temporary license for the team to practice medicine.
Trip Details: The purpose of this project is to:
- Build relationships with the Red Cross and other governmental agencies or officials
- Build relationships with the local people, hospital and other health centers
- Provide medical and health education seminars to the local hospital staff
- Help the local and TDT doctors to improve their medical experience.
- Provide excellent and free medical services to the people who have limited access to care.
