Join us as we explore the ethical issues discussed in Doing the Right Thing. With hosts Brit Hume, Chuck Colson, Dr. Robert George and a distinguished panel before a live student audience in Princeton, New Jersey, we’ll be studying a series of timely discussions on ethics in public life.

Through six sessions, the panelists will be asking questions meant to challenge your thinking about some of the most important ethical issues and challenges of today’s culture. The six sessions include:

  1. How did we get into this mess?
  2. Is there truth, a moral law we can all know?
  3. If we know what is right, can we do it?
  4. What does it mean to be human?
  5. Ethics in the market place
  6. Ethics in the public life

Each session will include additional resources that you can study, but we also encourage you to use the Participant’s Guide to direct you through the series. Feel free to take notes and write down questions to focus on during the group discussion period.

We hope that your thinking about ethics and morality will be profoundly challenged through this series. As the authors write, “Doing the Right Thing will challenge you to become an active participant, not merely in a class on ethics, but in a movement that is seeking to revitalize moral life, renew culture, and restore ethical sanity to our society. Our prayer is that doing the right thing will become not just a good idea but, increasingly, a way of life for you and your fellow participants in this course.”
