Group Membership


Group memberships were established with a goal of assisting individual practices who have multiple members in our organization by allowing a designated person at your company to handle your entire account with a single invoice.  Not only will you be able to offer CMDA membership as an practice benefit, but each individual will receive discounted annual membership dues. If you think your practice may qualify, please continue reading to learn more. 

 


Who Qualifies

A group discount may be offered to any practice when five or more of their *qualifying staff members wish to join CMDA or are current members. 

            *A qualifying staff member is defined as a degreed healthcare professional: allied health, resident or graduate practicing doctor. 

 

What are the Benefits

•    A discount of 25% off of each individual’s full membership dues rate is given.  For example:  A practicing doctor pays an annual dues rate is $344.  The discounted rate that the practice would pay is $258. 

•    Multiple memberships are paid with one invoice.

•    The CMDA member can be assured that we will work with their companies designated contact person to make sure they remain a member of CMDA.

•    Membership with CMDA can be added as a ‘benefit’ or recruitment tool for the practice.

 

How Does it Work

•    The individuals would be linked in the CMDA database to the group practice and a primary contact person (office manager, accountant, etc) would need to be designated.

 

•    ALL individuals in the group would be placed on the same billing cycle (new and renewing members).  This means that they will have the same paid through date so that group billing can be established.

 

•    CMDA may take a loss by giving extra months of membership to a group member to get them on the same cycle or the organization paying the dues may be required to pay a pro-rated fee for an individual in order to get them on the same billing cycle.  

 

•    CMDA will send out a group membership renewal to the primary contact person two months in advance of renewal along with a list of current members we have associated with their practice.  The primary contact person will have 30 days to respond with any changes to the list so that we can make adjustments to the group invoice before the renewal month. A new invoice will be issued after any necessary changes have been made.
