Claude Allen is Senior Vice President of the Gerard Health
Foundation, a private foundation that works to promote pro-life and
pro-family issues.
From 2001-2006 Claude served in the Bush Administration as the Deputy
Secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and as
the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy.
Allen also has broad experience managing health related issues at the
state level through his work as Secretary of Health and Human Resources
for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Allen holds both a Juris Doctorate and a Masters of Law in
International and Comparative Law from Duke University Law School. He
completed his undergraduate education at the University of North
Carolina at Chapel
Hill, earning degrees in Political Science and
Linguistics.
