Who: Primary Medicine & Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physical Therapists, Nurses, Logistics (non-medical helpers), 1 - 2 Pastors (to take an active part in the Spiritual aspect of the team and work with the National Partners/Spiritual Counseling)

Special Travel Announcement: All participants must travel to/from India as a group. No deviations in travel will be allowed without prior approval from GHO Director.

Trip Details: As Global Health Outreach continues to reach the world for Christ through healthcare, especially as we extend into the 10/40 window, we are so pleased to begin a partnership with Hindustan Bible Institute & College.  They have served the people of India since 1952 with a vision "to see a dynamic and transformational church in every village and colony of every town and city of our nation so that every one thousand, in every people group of every generation will have access to the Gospel".

 

India is a culturally and religiously diverse population of over 1.2 billion souls, second largest in the world, with 638,000 villages and over 4693 distinct people groups.  It's complexity of size, culture, language, economics and religion is like having over 200 different countries in one nation. 

 

God is moving and blessing India as efforts to reach its' people for Christ multiply each year and the sense of urgency grows to fulfill the Great Commission in this generation.   HBI utilizes leadership development, discipleship, church planting, church mobilization and social development as strategies to fulfill the vision.  

 

President Bobby Gupta will welcome our team of physicians, dentists, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, physical therapists and other helpers to its main campus in Chennai where we will be partner with their staff and area pastors to bring healthcare to the local villages.  All of our care and medicines are free and each team member has given of their own time, talents and funds to go forth is His Name to the least, the last and the lost of our world.

 

Each day we have team devotions and Bible study as we know that we cannot do this work without His presence, power and protection over our group.  He is the Great Physician who is able to heal all wounds, whether physical, emotional, spiritual or relational.  We go in His Name and minister to others for His glory and honor.

 

Come join our team in India and serve the least, the lost and the last.
