Trip Details:
As this will be a family trip, children 11 years or older are welcome
to accompany you. Their responsibilites will be as "helpers" in
the pharmacy, dental clinic and supporting the local church people who
will have daily programs for children.
We will be hosted by one of our most exciting and competent national
churches (Ministerio Cimiento Estable/The Firm Foundation Ministry)
under the leadership of Pastor Rene Mejia. The host lay couple from this
church are Oscar and Lupita Garcia, a wonderful bilingual couple.
This national church partner has been hosting our GHO teams since 1998
and truly does an outstanding job as hosts.
We plan to have the clinic site in Nuevo Cuscatlan, which is about 15
minutes oustide of San Salvador, where our hosts have bought some land
to build a church and reach out to this needy area of the city.
They consider our coming a wonderful answer to their prayers that will
help them launch this ministry from Nuevo Cuscatlan. The team will
stay in a hotel in San Salvador. The last Saturday will be a fun
day at the beach and doing some souvenir shopping.
