Dr. Scott Ries is a family physician in private practice in Indianapolis. He and his wife, Jodi, have been blessed with three wonderful children, Grace, Lauren and Jason. Together, they have been involved in CMDA since 1990.

 

Dr. Ries currently serves on the National Board of Trustees for CMDA, as well as in the local area CMDA leadership council in Indy. The Lord has graciously allowed Dr. Ries to serve on a number of short term missions to Central and South America. Each spring, he leads a GHO team to Honduras.

 

Dr. Ries specifically times these trips over spring break to allow 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year medical students an opportunity to experience serving God on the mission field. Over the years, students’ appetites have been whet, and several have gone on to serve for longer term missions experiences.
