Are annual dues tax deductible?

Annual dues for CMDA are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

 

 

I'm a nurse. Am I eligible for membership?

---

Yes, all Christian healthcare professionals are welcome to join CMDA, including physicians, dentists, physician assistants, nurses, physical therapists, PhD's in academic programs, etc.

Allied Health Professionals join CMDA as Associate Members. Associate Members receive all of the benefits of other members, with the exception of the right to vote or hold office.

 

 

Do I have to be a member in order to go to a CMDA conference?

You are not required to be a member in order to go to a conference. However, members receive a significant discount on the registration fees of most CMDA conferences, as well as many other exclusive benefits.

 

 

If I join in the middle of the year, will my dues pay for one full year, or just to the end of December?

Yes, your dues will pay for one full calendar year. For example, if you join in June 2006, you will be invoiced again in June 2007.

 

 

Do I have to be a member to participate in short-term mission opportunities?

---

There are opportunities for a diverse mix of people to participate on our short-term mission trips; for example, logistic assistants, translators, worship leaders, etc. play an important role in the success of the missions program. Therefore membership is not required for participants on short-term mission trips, as some of the much-needed participants are not eligible for membership. Please see the Missions section of the website to learn how to become a part of this ministry of changing lives around the globe!

 

 

My spouse is also a doctor. Is there a discount for spouse members?

Yes. Because of the value CMDA places on medical and dental marriages, we are grateful to be able to offer free membership to one spouse when the other pays full dues. One set of publications will be sent for both spouses in the name of the paying member.
