(144221) Private, not-for-profit, community health center nestled in the Ozarks of central Missouri seeking 2 family physicians, one with OB and one without. Practice consists of 4 physicians and 2 mid-level providers. Inpatient and outpatient required with a call schedule of 1 in 5. OB call would be 1 in 3. The medical practice is in a unique position to offer quality health care to a segment of the population that has little or no health insurance coverage and without the pressure of how that will affect physician income. This allows for "unfettered" health care delivery with the compassion and concern God would have us give everyone - and not biased by how much they can or not pay us for that care, much as on a mission field. Many of the employees are Christian - again allowing for a closer camaraderie than would be experienced in a secular of even a university setting.
