Will is a Louisiana boy, born and raised on the edge of the bayou close to New Orleans. He is a rare combination of athlete and musician, who grew up involved in baseball, football, gospel music, and church. LSU offered Will a football scholarship and a couple of years of gridiron glory. Seminary was the next step for Will as he received his Master of Divinity degree from Western Seminary in Portland, OR. After serving a couple of churches, he left the full-time paid ministry for the business world; and enjoyed great success in the dental field selling software and hi-tech products.

 

Around the turn of the century, Will started sensing a call back to full-time ministry. Thinking and praying about starting something for Dentists, he did a spiritualized “google” on Christian Dentists and found the CMDA web site. Poking around the CMDA web site led him to the Southern region page, where there was an ad saying “Position Available.” The Lord opened a huge door in August 2002, and Will has not looked back. Will is married to Susan and they have a daughter, Molly, who will start college in the fall of 2009.  He enjoys fishing the Louisiana bayous and salt marshes and hacking around the golf course. They make their home in Covington, Louisiana.

 

As for the CMDA ministry Will leads, he longs to see the Christian Medical and Dental community in each city come together as a core unit working to minister to students, residents, and doctors. If you would like to join Will in his efforts to lead and grow the ministry, please give him a call.
