Qualifications for African Applicants
How can a physician qualify for the training
program?
1) A candidate must be a citizen of an African country, a graduate of
a recognized medical school and must have completed an internship.
2) They must be a sincere follower of Jesus Christ as evidenced by
their words, actions and lifestyle.
3) The candidate must receive strong, written recommendations from
the leaders of their local church and from a Christian doctor who knows
them well and has worked with them.
4) Since the Training Centers provide furnished housing for the
resident and their family, free health care and learning materials, each
candidate must be sponsored by a church, mission or organization that is
capable of providing financial support for each year of training.
Each year of residency will obligate the sponsored resident to a year of
service in a suitable mission hospital.
