Meadowview Conference Center
Kingsport, TN
One of the common questions heard from medical professionals when
discussing medical missions is, “How do you find the
opportunities?” After hearing inspiring speakers,
participating in breakout sessions and conversing with mission agency
exhibitors, that question will be answered. Fear and other barriers to
service will also be addressed. Attendees will discover that as they
serve the poor their spirits will be renewed; they will become better
healthcare professionals and they will receive more than they give.
Physicians, dentists, nurses, physical therapists, pharmacist,
laboratory techs, and other allied health professionals / students and
church leaders are invited and encouraged to attend this conference.
Our goal is at the completion of the Discover the Joy Conference,
hundreds of regional medical professionals will be inspired and better
equipped to share their professional skills and personal lives with
hurting and needy people in this region and around the globe.
The Meadowview Conference Center in Kingsport, TN will be the
venue for this event. There will be four plenary sessions and three sets
of workshops during the day covering not only the practical aspects of
doing short-term missions, but targeted to inspire attendees to
participate. Domestic and international mission organizations will be
invited to exhibit and there will be plenty of time for those in
attendance to visit their displays and learn from them.
