Mission: BethanyKids at Kijabe Hospital (Bethany Rehabilitation and Relief International) and Africa Inland Church (Kijabe Hospital)

Profile: This well-known mission site is the home of the Kijabe Hospital and the Rift Valley Academy. BethanyKids at Kijabe Hospital is a unit within Kijabe Hospital dedicated to pediatric surgery and pediatric surgical rehabilitation in an African setting. BethanyKids has been an Auxiliary Training Site for the PAACS General Surgery Residency and will continue to serve in that role, but is now partnering with PAACS and the College of Surgery of East, Central and Southern Africa to produce accredited specialists in pediatric and rehabilitative surgery. Kijabe Hospital functions as a specialty referral hospital and is therefore often equipped at a higher standard than the average mission hospital.
