"Voice of Christian Doctor" Media Training

The Christian Medical & Dental Associations is increasingly called on by the media to give perspectives on ethical questions triggered by changing medical technology, as well as general health topics. From Congressional testimony to network television, God continues to open doors for CMDA to amplify the voice of Christian doctors on the critical life issues of our day. By providing media training to our members, we are better able to respond to the increasing requests. Many of our members who have participated in the training have come to realize a new ministry in their lives.

The workshop teaches attendees how to:

Prepare for a media interview.
Control the "agenda" during a media interview.
Turn every media encounter into an opportunity to educate.
Avoid being misquoted.
Turn sound-bytes into headlines.
Become a repeat guest source.
Make news, not noise.

In order to give individualized training, participation is limited to 12 CMDA members. Acceptance is based on a first come basis.
