Ruth Graham seeks to minister God’s merciful grace and restoration to those who are hurting and alone. Ruth reflects on the ordinary trials she’s faced, her divorces, her teenage daughters’ pregnancies, her son’s drug use and her other daughters’ eating disorder and the experience of returning to school at age 40, all part of her faith journey. The third child of Ruth and Billy Graham, Ruth graduated cum laude form Mary Baldwin College, with a BA in religion/communication and in 2004 received an honorary doctorate of Humane Letters from Eastern University.

Working thirteen years as the Acquisitions Editor for HarperCollins/San Francisco and McCracken Press, Ruth published First Steps in the Bible, a children’s Bible storybook, in 1980. Ruth also worked for five years as the Donor Relations Coordinator for Samaritan’s Purse. In addition to writing for Moody Magazine, Decision Magazine and the Saturday Evening Post, Ruth co-authored a book titled I’m Pregnant..Now What?...Heartfelt Advice on Getting Through an Unplanned Pregnancy. In 2004, Zondervan released In Every Pew Sits a Broken Heart, and in 2005 her next book was released, Legacy of Love…Things I learned from My Mother.
