Each of our ministries at CMDA come to their most important focus at
the community level where practicing doctors, academic doctors and
students live out the person of Christ. Local ministry
groups are developed when God plants a vision in the hearts
and minds of community doctors, telling them that God has a plan for the
doctors in that community. That vision and plan may center around
healthcare for the poor, or student and resident ministry, or overseas
missions or the care of hiring doctors or personal evangelism.

When God speaks to these doctors, the next step is to pray for
God’s vision and then to contact their regional director to
guide them through the process. In order to motivate, educate and equip
these doctors and students to live out God’s best plan for their
lives, CMDA has developed a team of over 40 ministers and doctors to
work beside them. This is the Campus & Community Ministries field staff. The field
staff is the heart of our CCM ministry and is divided into five regions.
Our regional directors work with these doctors to help discover that
vision and put feet to it.
