Campus Advisors

The ministry of Christian Medical and Dental Associations began with students. Student ministry remains vital in our mission to glorify God through medicine and dentistry. Christian students are the future touch of Christ in healthcare.

Christian medical and dental students are bright and dedicated and able to lead their own ministry through God’s guidance, but they are transient. Every year we need new students to step up as ministry leaders. This change makes it difficult to continue a solid ministry in schools where we have no field staff. Each changeover requires training and each new group of students needs connections established between them and Christian doctors on the faculty and in the community so that they can find models of faithfulness within medicine and dentistry. These connections are vital even where we have field staff in place.

Campus Advisors are absolutely essential in providing a solid foundation upon which students can establish ministry. For each medical and dental school in our country CMDA must recruit Christian doctors who are willing to stand as a support upon which the student ministry can lean. Thank God that He has called many such doctors to step up and provide that support.

Beginning in July 2007 we will be providing new resources for our Campus Advisors to help them accomplish the task to which God has called them. Each month for two years we will be sending out a new resource to help them in their ministry. We will be storing these resources on the Resource Page so that they all may be reviewed at any time after they are developed.
