Mentor Connections
Would you like a Christian doctor to help you get settled in your student years or residency program? Would you like a Christian doctor to mentor you? CMDA has committed doctors who would like to help you get started in your program and have volunteered to serve as Christian mentors/advisors.
Plain and simple, mentoring is a relationship - a one-to-one relationship between an experienced doctor and a resident. The goals of a mentor are: To be an encourager to the resident To help give direction to the resident To be a model to the resident A mentor may help in the student or resident's adjustment to the area. He or she may meet with the student or resident on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis. Most of all, the mentor will be available to show what it means to be a Christian doctor. Our desire is that CMDA will help you keep Christ first in your ministry of medicine. • If you are a student or resident and would like to be connected with a Christian doctor, click here to register. • If you are a graduate physician who would like to sign up to serve as a mentor/advisor to students or residents, click here to register.
